Altitude Range: 1770 masl

This natural processed bean comes from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. A natural coffee undergoes a different drying process than a typical washed coffee. In this case, the entire fruit is left to dry on a raised bed for 8-20 days (depending on temperatures and sun access), and then is husked or hulled off (the process is reversed for washed coffees). The result is a cup with stronger fruit and/or floral notes, both in taste and aromatics. 

Trivia tidbit: Natural processing is the oldest basic technique for preparing coffee.
